What we believe:

We believe that all life is filled with learning.  Our faith is a very important part of this learning experience.

Our Goals at St. Anthony of Padua are:

Our Mission:

“The eleven disciples went to Galilee to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them. When they saw him, they worshipped, but they doubted.  Then Jesus approached and said to them, ‘All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.  And Behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:16-20

Catechism is an education in the faith of children, young people, and adults which includes especially the teaching of Christian Doctrine imparted, generally speaking, in an organic and systemic way, with a view to initiate the hearers into fullness of Christian life.”  C.C.C.  4-5

It is our belief that we are called by our Baptism to teach the faith to the next generation.  We are very fortunate at St. Anthony of Padua to have a dedicated staff and Catechists who profess to that mission.  From our Pre-School Program through 8th Grade, each grade level is taught by competent, faith filled people who come prepared to impart their faith to the children and adults assigned to them.  On your part, it must be strengthened by you the parent/guardian to reinforce and continually foster that faith growth.
